Heritage comes in second at Lawrence Central Tournament

Congratulations to the Varsity team who came in second at the Lawrence Central Tournament this weekend. The Eagles beat Lawrence Central in first round play; 25-6, 25-13, In the second round they faced a much improved New Palestine team and won; 25-15, 25-10. The Eagles met the Royals from Hamilton Southeastern in the finals and lost 17-25, 13-25. Stephanie Rogers had 35 kills and 8 blocks, Maddie Anderson had 58 assists and 7 aces and Kelsey Christiansen had 15 kills and 6 blocks on the weekend.
The JV and Varsity teams play Tuesday night against Covenant Christian at 5:00 and 6:30. Come out and support the teams!!

Congratulations to the Varsity team for their win over Scecina!
Kelsey Christiansen had 16 kills, Sarah Sternasty had 14 digs, Maddie Anderson had 42 assist and 6 service aces, Hannah Dixon had 15 digs and Stephanie Rogers finished the night with a record 24 kills and 21 digs.

We love our SENIORS



It is really hard for me to believe that Steph, Kels, and Jess are SENIORS! They are 3 truly amazing young women who are filled with love for their teammates and on fire for the Lord! I can't wait to see what they do this season on and off the court. The verse that they picked for our team this year I think is a great representation of how each of them choose to live their daily lives.

Picture Day

Don't forget that tomorrow is picture day! We will take pictures at 4:00 then practice until 5:30. Remember to bring your picture forms in if you want to order.

One Week From Today

One week from today we play our first match!! Will we be able to say next Tuesday night that we have given our all, that we have prepared well, that we have practiced with purpose? Will we take the court confident that we did everything to be ready to play that match? Most importantly will we remember what our ultimate purpose is and let Christ shine through in all we do. Let's get excited-the Eagles are about to take the court!!
